How do I register for exams?

Exam registration is handled through KIT’s Campus Management System. Please note the respective registration periods and familiarize yourself with the applicable deadlines and procedures well in advance.

Further information:

(Self-)Recording of Interdisciplinary Qualifications (ÜQ)

You can record interdisciplinary qualifications (ÜQ) yourself in the Campus Management System.

To record them, please follow these steps:

  • Open the overview under “Exams” -> “Exam Registration and Deregistration, Withdrawal from an Examination” ->  “ÜQ/SQ Courses” tab.
  • Once you have selected an appropriate module component or placeholder, you can use the “Record” button to record the SQ/ÜQ achievement yourself. The title and credit points are automatically transferred from the transcript.

Transcript of Records (ToR)

You do not need to remain in Germany after completing your exchange program to wait for your Transcript of Records (ToR) to be issued.

Your ToR can be accessed online via your CAS account for up to six months after you have withdrawn from KIT. Your home university can use the QR code on the document for verification. If your home university requires a signed and stamped version of the ToR, please contact KIT Students Office.
